Kong Xiu (died 200) is a fictional character in Luo Guanzhong's historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. He served as a military general under the warlord Cao Cao and was in charge of defending Dongling Pass (south of present-day Dengfeng, Henan). He was slain by Guan Yu when he tried to prevent the latter from passing through.
Guan Yu concluded his short service under Cao Cao and journeyed northward to reunite with his sworn brother Liu Bei. In his hurry, Guan forgot to obtain an official pass from Cao, and was challenged by Kong when he reached Dongling Pass. Kong refused to allow Guan to pass through and was slain by Guan in anger. Kong's frightened men immediately gave way.
